    We offer comprehensive home safety and functional assessments to ensure that homes remain safe and accessible, and to maximise engagement in valued home-based tasks.

  • Equipment Prescription

    Our occupational therapy service may trial and recommend equipment to assist you engage safely in your valued activities.

  • Pressure Care

    As we age, our risk for pressure injuries may increase, especially if we are moving less due to illness or poor health. Occupational therapy services can assist by providing a thorough assessment of your pressure risk factors and provide education and recommendations on positioning, pressure redistribution and movement

  • Home Modifications

    Home modifications increase safety and accessibility in the home. These may include:

    - Grabrails

    - Handrails

    - Step modifications

    - Stairlifts and ramps

  • Community Access

    The benefits of maintaining active engagement within our communities is well documented. Our Occupational Therapy services can support this through:

    - Community mobility access including gait aid prescription, techniques for managing environmental hazards and public transport training.

    - Powered mobility device assessment, prescription and training, including power wheelchairs and mobility scooters.

  • Health and Wellbeing Education

    We can share our knowledge and work with you to develop your toolbox in the areas of:

    - Falls prevention

    - Energy conservation

    - Breathwork for pulmonary conditions

    - Fatigue management

    - Cognitive strategies and memory aids
